Miracles, and only ... It would seem that so many people go to the UAE in the winter, and no one bothered to write at least something about this. I had to ask for help from the travel agency through which we organized the tour. But they, too, could not tell me anything or advise. Even the call to the TezTour’s representative did not add clarity. All of us were somewhat discouraged, but since there was no other information, we believed this, but in vain - in fact, everything turned out completely wrong!

Moreover, I still have a feeling of some kind of conspiracy of our tour operators, who deliberately try to deceive Russian-speaking tourists and do everything so that they stay to celebrate the New Year in their hotels, at events organized by these offices themselves. I have never seen anything like it before - all the representatives of travel agencies, guides, drivers will shamelessly lie to you, thereby trying to drag you to your holiday banquet by any means, describing what wonderful performances there will be, delicious food and wonderful festive atmosphere. They will unanimously claim that there will be nothing interesting in Dubai on a festive night. The maximum is some frail, unremarkable salute. In no case do not believe them !!! Everyone who succumbed to these persuasions was then extremely disappointed! We were told many "scary" stories when people paid very decent money and received an inedible buffet, which was enough for a maximum of 40 minutes of celebration, and then people sat all night without food and drinks. I don’t speak about alcohol at all ... they say that on the table for six people the maximum that was was a couple of bottles of cheap champagne and a bottle of vodka. Friends complained about the disgusting animation or its complete absence. In general, do not settle for this option, or your vacation will be completely ruined! The only exceptions are luxury hotels such as Sail or Atlantis.

“What then to do? Where to celebrate? ”You ask. Well, I’ll try to offer you several options, as well as talk about the difficulties that you may encounter along the way ...
The first, and perhaps the most winning option, in my opinion, is the New Year's Eve in the very center of Dubai at the famous Burj Khalifa. Here, on New Year's Eve, the city authorities organize a fantastic salute in beauty!
But not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance ... If you live near the center of Dubai, then there will not be any special problems, but if somewhere in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, or other emirates, then everything is much more complicated. The fact is that starting from the middle of the day on December 31, hundreds of thousands of tourists and emigrants are trying to get to Dubai. Huge traffic jams are formed in which you can stand for several hours, but never reach the place you need. It often happens that after leaving at six in the evening, tourists never get to Burj Khalifa by midnight and they have to celebrate the New Year somewhere on the road, because all the highways are tightly clogged.
Therefore, if you live in Sharjah, it is better to do so - go on that day for a morning excursion to Abu Dhabi, and on the way back go to Dubai, take a walk along it, and go towards places closer to the place of the future show towards the end of the evening. But remember, the later you come here, the less convenient places you will occupy. Still, each of the million people gathered there will try to take the most advantageous position to watch. It will be a crazy crowd!
You can also get to Burj Khalifa in another way - for example, by metro. There will also be many people here, but at least you will be sure that you will get to the city center on time. Another problem will be that if you have not booked a table in a restaurant located nearby for several months, then for the rest of the night you will have nowhere to stumble upon, and it will be difficult to leave the city. Theoretically, you can of course take the subway, but the nearest station on New Year's Eve usually does not work and you have to walk to the one located in the financial center of Dubai. But no one knows how long you will stand there in the queue, because there will be a ton of other people trying to leave the center. Therefore, think in advance your cultural program after the main event of the evening.
Another option for celebrating the New Year may be to book a table in one of the famous hotels in the United Arab Emirates. True, pretty serious money will have to be paid for this pleasure. For example, our friends on New Year's Eve rested at the Atlantis Hotel. According to them, it was not bad there, though they got there with great difficulties. It was impossible to get to the hotel by car and they had to go under it on their own for quite some time.
