The room has relatively new furniture, a new 32 ”TV (2 Kiev + 2 Moscow channels), the refrigerator is old and poorly cooling. The bathroom has a bidet and a seated 3-corner bathtub. Room 5 is coal and small - 3 bed to accommodate with difficulty. The beds are soft, linen is white and fresher. The latch on the front door did not work (it was repaired) and the lock on the right wing of the balcony door (it was simply blocked). Surprised by the presence of a 2nd washbasin in the room corridor. The room is quiet (this was requested at the reception for $ 20). Hairdryer, air conditioning and safe worked properly. Hot water is constantly there, but a sink flows in the bathroom.
It was very annoying that for the first 6 days of rest, a card from the room was blocked 5 times. Scheme: at 12-50 (we go to lunch) everything works, at 14-00 (after returning from lunch) - the card is blocked by the reception staff - so they extort money. In the heat, running to the reception desk and back is very uncomfortable. After the scandal, the last 3 days the card worked fine.

The hotel has a somewhat unusual beach. It is divided into terraces and two horizontal sections connected by a concrete path, but there are not always enough places near the water entrances. Stone loungers were surprised, as well as a small number of umbrellas poorly protecting from the sun. Most of the plastic sunbeds on the beach are old and squeezed. Two stairs lead to the beach (140 and 147 steps) or you can go down it along the smooth highway to the beach bar. The elevator to the beach is located at the very end of the hotel and it is inconvenient to use it - from it go to the sea about 200 m.
Of the three entrances to the sea, the 4 meter pier was closed (a ladder broke off) and was used by divers.
After 15-00 on the beach at the 60 meter flooded pier there is no sun due to the overhanging cliff. On the beach near this pier it is very hot due to the lack of wind. It is a winter, not an autumn beach. At 60 m of the pier, even with a calm sea, periodically waves of 50-70 cm are unpleasant. Therefore, we used a 20 m pier with 2 ladders.
Coral is more interesting to the north (i.e. left if facing the sea). For 9 days it was not possible to see a single fish larger than 70 cm. True, outside the hotel's beach I saw a turtle and a stingray. In general, there are few fish and coral is not very interesting.
Flocks of 30-60 pigeons periodically fly over the beach, which then crap on the second floors of hotel buildings.
Food
The main restaurant (near the reception) was: chicken, turkey, beef (often inedible), horse mackerel, fish cakes, tuna and, unfortunately, often pangasius. All this is issued on the veranda by portion cooks. Free access - braised beef. Of the fruits were dates, melon, grapes, pear, oranges, guava and pomegranate.
For some reason, very often there were no chopped tomatoes - only cucumbers + cabbage + pepper (salads, especially with dressing, we do not take in hotels).
Alcohol is simply terrible - the strength of “vodka” and “brandy” is 20-25%. The taste of all "strong" drinks is the same. White and red wine is carbonated and nasty. Is beer more or less?
The main restaurant has a bar where you can order drinks on your own, and not wait for the waiter. Always in the public domain: coffee, tea, hot and hungry water + 3 chemical “juices”.
You won’t be hungry - there are other dishes for lunch and dinner every day.
The problem is to visit a la carte restaurants - you need to register in 4-6 days. We could only visit the Italian restaurant by the main pool - nothing special.
Weather
The first 3 days it was very hot - 37-38 degrees. in the afternoon and calm. Until you get to the room or to the restaurant - everything is wet (it was especially unpleasant to go to the reception and back when the card from the room did not work). Animation
She is - and charging, and water aerobics, and bocha, and darts. But there is no free billiards. To get on it, you need to find animators after 20-00 who have a key to it, but this is not realistic.

From September 22 to September 25, the hotel was approximately 30-40% full (there were no empty seats in the restaurant) and there were no seats on the beach (so as not to go 120-150 m to the surface 20 m pier). The first dishes were prepared for lunch - a full-fledged vegetable soup, almost pickle and even borsch (but without beetroot). An abundance of fruits, biscuit cakes, rolls, a variety of cookies. For dinner in the main restaurant you could sit ice cream.
We had dinner several times at the Grill House on the beach, where it seemed to us tastier.
The daily morning queue for scrambled eggs and fried eggs was a little upset, although boiled eggs were always in the public domain. Well, probably, like in all hotels, boiled sausage, sausages and hard cheese leave much to be desired.
It is necessary to register for a la carte in advance (preferably on the first day). We only got into the Italian and grill and were satisfied with the atmosphere and service.
All alcohol - except for alcohol - fu beer ... Fortunately, they took a liter of cognac with them.
The hotel area is very large, the beach is cascaded, which is the highlight of Dream Beach. The coral reef on site is one of the best in Sharm.
Wifi is not bad, it catches only at the reception.
There are problems with mosquitoes, but they can be avoided by closing all the doors to the room after sunset. Before going out for dinner and evening walks, I personally was very helped by a spray from mosquitoes and ticks. OF aerosol does not save mosquitoes from there.
Beach towels are given out only in one place and only early in the morning, but we solved these inconveniences in a simple way - we received it on the first day, and passed it before eviction.
As for excursions, then it’s up to you to decide how to proceed. The hotel is visited by “mishandled Cossacks” and offers everything the same as the guide, only cheaper by 20-30 dollars.
I would also like to draw the attention of future hotel guests to one of the Anex Tour staff. So a certain Kolya from Odessa (speaks purely Russian, without an accent) is 100% dishonorable and unscrupulous. Citizens bypass it !!!

Food ... We got into ramadan (who do not know google). In the first two or three days we were seeing. Dry and hard rice (this is the same dish), half-baked potatoes, chicken, beans, something else, it was impossible to eat sweet, fruits. And this is all very, very sad. We are in Egypt for the third time, and were in four countries in other countries, believe me, we saw much better. When the ramadan ended, it started ... they turn out to be able to cook something else! Pizza, fish, liver, spaghetti and a kilometer queue. What is the point. Ramadan ended on June 4, and from that day on, locals fell into this hotel! I just haven’t seen so many of them in my life. Ukrainians and Russians are arrogant, ill-bred and pigs ??? Oh sure! It’s good that we were leaving 6, and that very day, while we were waiting at the reception for the transfer, a lot of them arrived (see photo)

You will not have free time, they stupidly sip you in the heat in places where you can take pictures on the background of the pyramids and that's it. You will not be able to go where you want. If you really want to ride camels, take a separate tour with ATVs, it will be more interesting. Just remember, if you take ATVs to a tour operator, it’s just a chain to go!
Pancakes on the beach, I was in shock. We skipped lunch and decided to eat at least pancakes, because there is nothing more. There are pancakes, but there are no appliances to eat, eat, comrades hands, called.

In general, a cheap hotel corresponds to service, food and everything else. A lot of people came for the first time to see what it is and go in awe with open mouths (and then rating 4.4). To me personally, the man said that the buffet is chic and he is very happy with everything! What a surprise it was when I said that it was nothing compared to others. The hotel Royal Grand Sharm has a rating of 4.37. Why is this 4.4 ????? Everything is much better there, food, program, beach, service, pool, water at the bar can be taken in unlimited quantities! People, evaluate it realistically!
I recommend it to those who travel for the first time and categorically do not recommend it to those who know what a real all inclusive is.

For some reason, very often there were no chopped tomatoes - only cucumbers + cabbage + pepper (salads, especially with dressing, we do not take in hotels). Alcohol is simply terrible - the strength of “vodka” and “brandy” is 20-25%. The taste of all "strong" drinks is the same. White and red wine is carbonated and nasty. Is beer more or less? The main restaurant has a bar where you can order drinks on your own, and not wait for the waiter. Always in the public domain: coffee, tea, hot and hungry water + 3 chemical “juices”. You won’t be hungry - there are other dishes for lunch and dinner every day. The problem is to visit a la carte restaurants - you need to register in 4-6 days. We could only visit the Italian restaurant by the main pool - nothing special. Weather The first 3 days it was very hot - 37-38 degrees. in the afternoon and calm. Until you get to the room or to the restaurant - everything is wet (it was especially unpleasant to go to the reception and back when the card from the room did not work). The weather was the same on 09/30/18. Sea - 28-30 degrees. There was no storm and big waves, because the hotel is located in the bay Animation It is - and charging, and water aerobics, and bocha, and darts. But there is no free billiards. To get on it, you need to find animators after 20-00 who have a key to it, but this is not realistic. Evening shows were every day at 22-00 (after dinner). I liked the fire show, the rest are not very. Tourists From September 22 to September 25, the hotel was approximately 30-40% full (there were no empty seats in the restaurant) and there were no places on the beach (so as not to go 120-150 m to the surface 20 m pier). Then the hotel occupancy fell 2-2.5 times and there were always free places on the beach near the beach bar where pancakes are prepared. We chose this beach because there was always at least a slight breeze, and it was not so hot. Rested with a friend and children. This is not my first visit to Egypt, it was in different five-star hotels. This one, in my opinion, is still the best. Perhaps the hotel made such an impression on me because in connection with the situation, there were few people in the country and in the hotel, and, as a result, the lack of crowding, turmoil and unhygiene. The hotel is good. There are three descents at sea. We really enjoyed it. Convenient with children. Just a great many beautiful fish. You can watch them for hours! The kids club in the hotel works in good conscience, in Russian. The contingent of vacationers is international, but mainly Russian-Ukrainian. The rooms are reasonably clean and quite comfortable. Good day! At this hotel we rest a second time. Regular visitors are given the right to choose a room. We chose the same room in which we had a rest earlier. We really liked him then. The room is bright, spacious and has a pleasant view from the window. They populated us very quickly and without bureaucratic red tape. I especially liked the service staff, who easily coped with their duties. Very welcoming and cheerful. Cleaned our room daily. Everything was just perfect! Quite often, fresh flowers were brought into the room - we were pleasantly surprised. The food at the hotel completely satisfied us! There are plenty to choose from. Everything is very tasty and satisfying. A lot of fruits: oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, guava, bananas, dates. Most of the time we naturally spent at sea. The sea there is of fabulous beauty! Hello! We arrived early in the morning and were surprisingly immediately populated. We got the room on the ground floor with amazing views of the coast. Cleaning was carried out daily and fairly high quality. We have no complaints. The food here was varied, everyone can find something tasty and delicious for themselves. For breakfast there is oatmeal, granola, yogurt, fruit salad, various types of cheeses, pastries. Eggs are cooked at you and at your request with different fillers. Delicious pancakes are fried. There is also ful and tameya - this is a very favorite food of the Egyptians, be sure to try if you are at the hotel! The waiters, bartenders are very welcoming and friendly. But nearby is the amphitheater, in which music plays until 11 and all this is perfectly audible. This did not bother us, but if you go with small children, this is probably a minus. Room condition is good. The cleaner brought a bottle of water every day. But they didn’t clean it very well. Firstly, not every day, and secondly, he did not always wash the floor. And after the tip left, alas, nothing has changed. About the food. In the main restaurant, they give all the most delicious on the veranda. That is, there you fry meat and chicken and fish, and they also cook pasta and pasta with different sauces. Everything was delicious. With the side dishes it was somehow worse, the vegetables were all sour. Cakes are not the biggest choice. But I really liked the breakfasts. They give sooo tasty cheese, and more than one species. The second pool is closer to the beach, that is, one level down, next to the spa center. There are very few people, everything is quiet and calm, there is a small slide for very young children. Next to it is just the grill house. About the sea. There are three pontoons. The leftmost one, when you look at the sea, is long and very slippery, as it is made of planks under water, and they are all overgrown with silt. Swim to the left from it, because there is nothing to do on the right. And the further you sail, the more beautiful it will become. Of the fish, they saw Napoleon, two huge baracudas, a stingray, clown fish, and much more. There were no lionfish, moray eels too. This is frustrating. About entertainment. The animation is good, almost all Russians are very funny. Good shows in the evenings, but repeated every week. After the show, everyone is called to go to a club in the city. We wanted, but not enough people. Type leave only 5-6 people. The club in the hotel is basically normal, but the music is repeated every day. We also drove from the tour operator to ride quadrics to the Bedouins. They took a lot of money from us for this. To save money, you can buy the same tour from the guys on the beach.
