Where is the village of Ordzhonikidze in the Crimea. Rest in Ordzhonikidze, Crimea: what to see, hotels, how to get. Beaches for recreation in Crimea in Ordzhonikidze on the seashore. Where to stay vacationers - price overview

The urban-type settlement Ordzhonikidze is part of the urban district of Feodosia, located 15 km from the center of Feodosia, 14 km from Koktebel. The people fixed the abbreviated name of the village - "Orjo". The geographical location of Ordzhonikidze is very interesting: the village is located on a steep cape of Kyik-Atlam, which protrudes into the sea for almost 4 km. Local landscapes are very peculiar: the steppe Crimea in this region experiences bizarre metamorphoses, gradually turning into a mountainous one. From the side of Koktebel, Orjo is washed by Provato Bay, and from Theodosia - by the Two-anchor Bay. Holidays in Orjo. In Soviet times, the village was non-tourist, it was closed to nonresident, because there were two military factories that produced torpedoes and hydraulic equipment. In the 90s of the XX century, production fell into decay, and Ordzhonikidze simply had no other alternative but to come to grips with attracting tourists. Over the past years, the initial tourist infrastructure has developed: private hotels, cafes, spa shops, attractions have appeared. However, in Ordzho you still will not see the hectic nightlife and the bustle of large resorts, large entertainment centers (dolphinarium, water park and the like) are located in neighboring Koktebel. Ordzhonikidze is a place for a relaxing holiday without any claims to excesses. Accordingly, housing rental prices and all related services are lower than in Feodosia, Koktebel and many other places along the Crimean coast. Housing in Ordzhonikidze is represented mainly by rooms in guest houses, rooms in mini-hotels and separate turnkey apartments. A few years ago, the Katran boathouse complex was built near the village, where the most comfortable rooms are offered at higher prices, from this boathouse hotel you can immediately go to your own spacious beach, and therefore the popularity of Katran is growing from year to year. The nature in the Ordzhonikidze region over the past centuries has been subject to minimal human influence, and you immediately see and feel it: picturesque natural landscapes, clear sea, fresh air. The village is "dead end", there is no transit transport through it, it is always quiet and calm here. Orjo is surrounded by numerous pebble beaches with varying levels of tourist occupancy. There are great places for a "wild" holiday right by the sea. Nature of Ordzho The closest railway station to Ordzhonikidze is Feodosiya (15 km), a train or trailed carriage from Moscow goes here. Feodosia can also be reached by intercity bus from most cities in southern Russia. The nearest airport is Simferopol (125 km). To save time and nerves, it is better to book a transfer to Orgio in advance in the official taxi service, or in that mini-hotel where you prefer to book a room. A trip by public transport will require transfers and will take a lot of time.

Hello! While my impressions of my vacation in Crimea, or rather, in Ordzhonikidze, are fresh, I will try to present them here.

The choice of a place of rest was dictated by the need to undergo rehabilitation at sea with a sandy beach and a bottom (as directed by a doctor). At first, Anapa and its surrounding areas, Vityazevo and Dzhemete, were considered, but housing prices inclined me towards my beloved Crimea. Housing prices in Crimea are much lower than in the Krasnodar coast, but the road to the vacation spot is harder. Train tickets were taken to Anapa, then a single ticket to the Crimea was purchased for them - bus - ferry - bus to the station of Feodosia. The Feodosia region is famous for its beaches ( including the famous golden beach), as well as flat terrain, which is very suitable for me due to health reasons. But the more I read about the areas in which you should stay for a vacation (Theodosia, Beregovoe and Primorsky itself were considered), the more I met very positive and wonderful reviews about the rest in the village of Ordzhonikidze, which is ten kilometers from Feodosia.

The decision to stay on vacation in Ordzhonikidze was made based on the fact that there is a bewitching nature, a huge number of beaches ( about 15 beaches) and the presence of a sandy central beach with beautiful fine sand.

☼ ☼ ☼ Accommodation in Ordzhonikidze and room description ☼ ☼ ☼

The choice of housing was carried out on the Internet. I will say this, I spent a lot of time to find those conditions that satisfied me, and also corresponded to the principle of "price = quality". The fact is that the village was small, before perestroika it was closed in connection with the deployment of military factories specializing in the development and testing of torpedo weapons. Therefore, as a resort place Ordzhonikidze has recently become. Basically, for housing, apartments in five-story houses or stalins are offered. There is a private sector, but either did not like the conditions ( there is no air conditioning, but for me in July it was important), or it was far from the sea and the central beach, or the price is too high. The bulk of the options fell out due to the fact that I was interested in the dates in July ( vacation dates) rooms have been booked. As a result, one way or another, I had to redraw the departure and arrival dates and choose a quite good housing option that arranged me for the price, comfort and location (the area of Bolnichny Lane, in the direction of garages).

In the room we had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. 11 meter room, bathroom, shower, air conditioning, fridge, kettle, satellite TV, free WI-FI and all the necessary little things.

The owners rented the second and third floor for vacationers. There are two rooms on each floor (each room is designed for two people). Such a few people contribute to peace and quiet. The cost of such a number in July 2016 was 1,200 rubles per day. From the room to the promenade was 7 minutes of leisurely progress. The way back took a little more time - from 10 minutes due to the fact that I had to go a little uphill. In general, I am very pleased with the housing option. The only thing is that the owners do not provide their vacationers with a common kitchen - they have not yet built it, but they plan to implement it in the future. But believe me, rest, and then come and cook something - not everyone is ready for it. Yes, and especially this is not necessary. Breakfast with us did not require a stove: coffee or tea, dairy products (cheese, kefir), sandwiches or instant oatmeal from a bag (which you need to pour boiling water) - these are our options for a hearty snack in the morning.

☼ ☼ ☼ About Ordzhonikidze ☼ ☼ ☼

According to a single ticket, it was assumed that we would come to Feodosia. Further, at the bus station of Feodosia, we have already been met by homeowners (transfer is free). By car, we arrived at the resting place in 20 minutes with a breeze. Already on the road, gorgeous views of nature opened up before us: picturesque landscapes, pine trees, breathtaking views of mountains and the sea. The road winds like a serpentine among the hills that open up beautiful views of the foothills of the western coast of Crimea and Provato Bay. Such beauty captures the spirit, it must be seen firsthand!

The village itself left a double impression. As I indicated above, not so long ago it began to develop as a resort place. There is nothing special to see in the village, there are no tourist attractions. Panel five-story buildings, houses of Stalin, a small market, a house of culture. There is no gloss and pathos - everything is simple, as for an ordinary village. At the same time, you notice that you could ennoble the territory, the park, plant flowers in order to create a more pleasant impression of this place. But these are questions of the administration. The village is small, wherever you live, a maximum of 30 minutes walk to the place you need.

According to the infrastructure. There are two pharmacies in Orjo, one on the waterfront - it works around the clock, has a limited range and prices are almost twice as high as we are used to. The second pharmacy in the market area (on the five-story building) is also small with a small assortment, but with adequate prices for drugs, I advise it if it is needed. If you need expensive medicine or rare demand - you have to go to Feodosia.

There are no supermarkets in the village, there are ordinary small shops where you can buy food and consumer goods. Resort prices. The farther the store is from the promenade, the more adequate the pricing policy. But still, it is more expensive than what we buy in our stores. There is a wonderful company store of Crimean wines "Koktebel". It is located at 15. Nakhimov Street, 15. Those who live in the market area will walk right to the sea and the promenade past it. I advise you to definitely look there. It presents a rich assortment of wines and cognacs of Massandra, Inkerman, the Solar Valley, as well as other manufacturers. The prices are adequate, in stores either the same or slightly more expensive. But it’s better to buy Massandra’s wine there. Here you can take wine or cognac for a tasting. The price for 50 ml of wine is from 25 rubles and above (depending on the cost per bottle). This is quite enough to create the impression of a bouquet of wine and taste. Cognac prices, respectively, are higher. There is another wine store on Lenin Street, but this one is in great demand at Nakhimov.

In a village near the embankment there is a Soviet-built culture house. Inside is the usual village cultural life. For vacationers it can be useful in that there is a massage room with certified specialists ( on the beach do not do massage) I went to them for a massage of the cervical-collar zone (250 rubles in 15 minutes) and a hip massage (500 rubles in 30 minutes). Convenient in that you can sign up for a specific time. Here, next to the massage parlor and a hairdressing salon - they cut, do manicures, pedicures. Prices are reasonable too.

Public transport is located in the market area. The interval of traffic in Feodosia is 30 minutes. The fare is 20 rubles along the route 20A or 35 rubles along the route 20 (old road).

The bus arrives at the bus station of Feodosia (the one near the central market), from there you can leave for neighboring villages. So we drove to Koktebel. Immediately at the bus station they transferred to another bus that went to Koktebel.

There is a small church. They were going to stop by, but it still didn’t work out. There is a stadium, a sports ground, but all this is neglected. Nothing more useful for tourists was noticed. What do vacationers in Orgjo love? For the nature that surrounds it, for bays, for mountains ... Accordingly, if the fact of developed infrastructure, refinement of streets and territories is important for you, then this point is lame ...

☼ ☼ ☼ Embankment: central beach and cafe ☼ ☼ ☼

The embankment of Ordzhonikidze is small, corresponds to the zone of the central beach. It is a collection of catering points - solid bistros, cafes, restaurants for different budgets and tastes. Here are street outlets of consumer goods - beer, kvass, lemonade, chips, crackers, corn, etc.

We ate at two bistros. The first is the most extreme, on the border of Hospital Lane and the embankment. Here, good pizza, pastries, pasties, delicious pancakes with fillings. As well as dishes by the type of dining room - salads, second and first courses. I recommend the bistro "Food" (in the middle of the promenade). It is very popular among holidaymakers for its affordable prices and a large assortment. We mainly ate there.

Lunch or dinner averaged 150 rubles per person, but we don’t eat much, we had enough. But once for lunch they took a side dish with goulash plus pangasius fillet and everything, just ate too much, it was even hard to go home (we decided that we wouldn’t eat so much anymore) I advise you to try pizza in the same place - chebureks cook very tasty (just huge! )

I also heard good reviews about the cafe Kara-Dag. This cafe is located opposite the church next to the shops. We did not enter, but I captured the price list.

There is a small play area for children on the promenade. If you like to wander among the trading stalls with Crimean souvenirs, then their limited number can disappoint. I counted six of them. There is a tent with a huge assortment of Crimean cosmetics! Prices there are the same as, for example, in Feodosia or in the online store.

There are several points where excursions are offered. Prices, of course, have already grown in comparison with what was under Ukraine. We have already visited many places, so we were not insisted on excursions. But they got a boat trip to the Golden Gate and the Kara-Dag volcano. The price this season is 500 rubles per person for 2 hours of walking, which is quite normal. But all-day excursions to the South Coast or other interesting routes - from 1,700 rubles apart from the fact that you need to take money with you.

In general, the embankment did not impress me. There is no beauty. Here is a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Yes, you can’t argue. We went for a day to Koktebel - there the embankment is impressive. Here, the priority is made on nature, mountains ... Therefore, consider what you need, what you want more.

Central beach Ordzhonikidze is sandy. Convenient entry into the sea, not deep. There are several canopies on the beach, but to take a place under them (if you do not take a deck chair, of course), you need to be in the early morning. If you take a deck chair, then the price is: 200 rubles for half a day, 250 rubles for the whole day. The option of booking a deck chair with an umbrella for a few days or the whole rest is offered, then there will be a discount system. You will always know that your deck chair will be waiting for you and no one will take it.

As in many resort towns, on the central beach of Orjo you can ride a banana, a cheesecake (tablet), a water bike, and also parachute behind a boat (price 2000 rubles per person, 3000 rubles if two). At the end of the promenade there is a pier with boats, boat excursions depart from there, a scuba diving service with an instructor is also offered there.

Minus the central beach: very crowded, many children. The water near the shore is muddy due to the crowded, we must sail further. If you like peace and quiet, it is better to go to other beaches, through the hills along the trails. But after surgical treatment it’s difficult for me to climb the stairs, not like walking along mountain paths, so there were no options - only the central beach.

☼ ☼ ☼ Nature, sea, mountains ☼ ☼ ☼

In order to enjoy the nature and purity of the sea, you need to go along mountain paths. Behind the pier of the boat station there is a passage to the wild beach at the foot of Vasyukovka Mountain. It is rocky, not quite comfortable for relaxing.

Many go further to the Agate beach, but this was no longer available to me. Already a couple of days before departure, we were prompted to go to the sandy beach in the area of ST Volna (whoever stops at Morskaya will also be close to that). A good relaxing holiday is provided there, very finely, like in a bay. But to go far, though. In addition, there are sewage treatment plants nearby, where hatches have been removed and it smells very much of sewers, very much, believe me. In order not to inhale these smells, you can go further along the coastline towards the Katran boathouses or along the mountain, but there are already rocky beaches.

If you go towards Koktebel, then according to the vacationers there are also good quiet beaches. But the path there is not close and along the steep slopes and trails. We didn’t dare to go with injured feet and problems in orthopedics, any careless movement could lead to serious problems, so I can’t tell what is behind the capes. But the steep climbs towards the Dvuyakornaya bay, even at Vasyukovka breathtaking, you can only envy those who, for health reasons, can afford to take a walk there.

☼ ☼ ☼ To summarize ☼ ☼ ☼

Overall, not bad. You can immediately see that Ordzhonikidze is positioned as a place to relax with children - there are a lot of families with small children for whom the central beach is very convenient. But in order to rest was calm and peaceful, you need to go to other beaches, overcoming a long way along steep paths. If this is difficult for you (as I, for example), you will have to be content with a crowded central beach, or visit the beach in the area of Morskaya Street (ST Volna or Katran boathouses). I also wrote about infrastructure, it is not very developed here. Of the entertainment, only the promenade (small, you can’t walk around), which is more a point of catering. Therefore, active fun evening life is not observed here. For entertainment, you need to go to other villages.

P.S. if you decide that you need a local SIM card (MTS of the Krasnodar Territory), I’ll say right away that it’s problematic to buy it in Orjo. We were told that we need to go only to Feodosia, they do not sell here. As a result, I just changed the tariff and called at a favorable tariff.
