How to buy cheap tour tips. When is it more profitable and cheaper to buy holiday packages? In advance, a month or two or a week before the rest? How to buy a cheap tour: ways to save

But I haven’t traveled for a long time! .. If this thought caught you in the middle of active everyday life, whether in the office or in a manicure session, you DO NOT need:

 1. nervously wait for the weekend;
 2. urgently run into the subway to get to the familiar mother's niece on the father's side - a travel agent in the seventh generation.

Is the Internet at hand? Obviously, yes, if you are reading this article. Then open the browser, go to the site and look-learn-buy. Then you will send us greetings from the beach near the Andaman Sea, because you can buy a last-minute tour to Thailand, and even cheaply, right now, without breaking from your workplace! And here are 10 ways

Well, and if you dissuade yourself “yes, we are somehow old-fashioned, more reliable ..”, pay attention to the following weighty arguments in favor of buying a tour on the Internet.

 • No extra charge

Comparing the cost of a ticket from an online service and a travel agency, we will see a noticeable difference in rubles. This is explained by the fact that offices put in the price the rental of premises, salaries to employees, etc. Of course, sites also work to their advantage, but with an extra charge an order of magnitude less. Want to buy a cheap tour for example to Spain? All roads lead exclusively to the Internet!

 • Calm atmosphere

What could be better than planning an upcoming vacation in Greece with a cup of coffee in your favorite chair? You are free to consider any dates, ask the price of hotels of all categories, annoying managers do not bother you. And if you add a little patience and ingenuity, then you will also discover last-minute “all-inclusive” packages for two at attractive prices.

Our trip to Israel (Dead Sea, December 2016)

No one will impose options that are “just a find!” or "nowhere more profitable" that travel agents love to do, thereby spinning up large amounts. And the phone will not be torn from ten calls a day if you take a pause for reflection. Tour operators give different margins, so the travel agency will most likely recommend you buy tours from specific companies!

 • Documents at hand

You don’t have to go a couple of times to a travel agency for documents and be nervous if employees are slow in issuing them. All confirmations, insurance, tickets will be sent to the post office. Well, printing them is a matter of five minutes.

 • Affordable consultation

If you have any difficulties, you can leave a request for a call back, and the specialist will not make you wait long. A 24-hour customer support service is ready to answer all your questions and clarify any misunderstandings. What is not a traditional conversation with the manager, only at a distance. You can also ask a question - what should be done to buy a last-minute tour from Moscow for two cheaply - though it's much better to figure it out yourself first 😉

 • Possible savings

A nice bonus of the online tour search is the probability of lowering the final cost by another couple of thousand rubles. Yes, the above margin can be reduced to zero. But first things first! Make sure? Now let's move on to the next pressing issue.

Having decided on an independent selection of permits, special services come to the rescue, searching for tours in all tour operators. But if you just go online, you will be whirled in a whirlwind of numerous sites, forums and other resources of a certain degree of competence.

Our trip to Italy (Milan, July 2016)

First of all, it is necessary to pay attention to the presence of the widest possible base of tour operators. Agree, the higher the competition, the lower the price. In no case do not start online research from the official websites of travel agencies: here you will not find tickets for a low price, because they will be bought anyway. But among the many tours for all tour operators collected on one portal, the winner will be the one who will offer the best (i.e., acceptable in quality and cost) option.

To facilitate the task, we have compiled TOP 5 sites for you where you can select a tour yourself, bypassing persistent managers:

We recommend using the time and reviews tested services and. Here you can not only find cool offers in all areas of relaxation, but also catch the cheapest last-minute tours. Among the presented options from 120 tour operators in Russia, you will definitely find your ticket to the world of travel, and the user-friendly interface of sites and customer-oriented customer support will help in this exciting undertaking.

Some tips and examples on how to find an inexpensive tour on the Internet

When searching for an online tour, be sure to consider several factors that will allow you to cool down the price.

Firstly, flexibility in dates. The more days you define as the best time to start your vacation, the higher your chances of finding a less expensive route. A good example from the calendar of low prices: we want to buy a tour to Cyprus in early March, enter the initial data and make sure that the departure on March 7 and 8 will save a decent amount, compared with the 6th or 9th.

Secondly, remember that often the duration of rest also makes adjustments. See, it also confirms that a trip to India for two for 7 nights can cost less by 2-3 thousand rubles than for 11 nights! Who will choose 7 nights?

Thirdly, consider buying a tour from Moscow. Of course, services find offers with a departure from any major Russian cities. But, taking into account the development of air transportation in the capital, buy a tour from Kazan, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, etc. - an expensive undertaking.

Well, last-minute tours to Spain from Moscow in 2019, in comparison with the departure from Kazan, prove this injustice:

It seems that the cheapest option is to buy a tour from Moscow, and spend the difference on Spanish entertainment, especially in Port Aventura Park.

Fourthly, carefully study the hot tours tab from all tour operators. Yes, a “hot” vacation is a risky business, but in most cases it is worth it. Prices for previously biting trips with accommodation in a 5 * hotel, and not only, can be reduced to 90%.

Now the most important thing!

How to buy a cheap tour and make it even cheaper? Online only!

The cheapest tours are, of course, last-minute tours. They are taken without looking, and subsequently rejoice in a wonderful vacation and no less wonderful money saved.

But first of all, keep your cool. Want to score more points (rubles) in your favor in an unequal battle with the most loyal opponent - an online service? Then:

 • use bank cards with cashback for payment (i.e. with a refund of part of the spent funds back). For example, if you plan to buy an inexpensive tour to the Crimea online, a Tinkoff Black card at the end of the month will return 1% of the total amount. No, don’t grin that so little, see the next paragraph.
 • look for special offers from banks. From personal experience, we can say that the same Tinkoff made an agreement with Travelata and added an additional 4% to the cashback (for a limited period of time).

Total, we have a hot tour with a discount from, which we “finish off” with a 5% refund on the card, and plus karma for resourcefulness.

Well, if the topic of burning tours is touched ...

Which is better: search for last-minute tours and tours or early booking?

Do you now know where to buy the cheapest tours? And if you prefer to “spend time”, the cost of rest is completely satisfied, and determination is reinforced by the golden rule - the more days before the date, the lower the amount - then book without hesitation.

If there is no certainty in the dates of the treasured vacation or unsatisfactory price tags on the tourism market, track the prices of last-minute cheap tours. And as soon as a hint of free days appears, open a browser, go to the site or and choose the cheapest tour for the next month or week!

Oh yes, and do not forget, after buying a tour to Phuket, leave a review and help others in buying a tour online, saving you time and money. Good luck to you!

Even experienced travelers regularly ask the same questions. Buy a vacation ticket now or wait until it becomes "burning"? What if the tour that I want is sold out for my dates? What if they don’t buy it, and closer to the departure date it will be possible to buy it half as much? What if they’re sold out? (at this point the circle closes). How to answer yourself to these questions - in our life hack.

Ellin Tolstov, co-founder and technical director of the company selling tours online on Level.Travel, talks about the features of pricing.

Prices for tours at the beginning of the trip can either increase or decrease. It all depends on the availability of seats on a charter flight and the demand for a particular resort. “If the operator sees that the plane is filling up quickly and there is not enough space left, the price may rise,” says Ellin Tolstov. “Moreover, if the departure is in a few days, and the plane is still not full, so-called“ burning tours "They are often sold below cost just to ensure that the tour operator does not lose the money spent on buying seats on the plane and hotel."

Risk factor

The decision at what exactly time to buy a tour is influenced by many factors: the composition of vacationers, the country, and the time of year at which tourists plan to go on vacation. It is obvious that you should not delay the choice of the tour for those traveling with children or a large company, with the intention of staying in a room for several people. Such tours closer to the date of travel rarely get cheaper. On the contrary, there is a risk of not finding a decent offer at all. It makes sense in advance to purchase tours for those people who cannot at the last moment shift their days of rest.
“Employees of large companies, as a rule, have very strict vacation dates, and it can be impossible to change them,” says Ellin Tolstov. “In such cases, it’s better not to risk and book a trip in advance - and the sooner the better. In this case, the tour operator will have enough time to confirm places and tickets, and tourists will not have any unwanted surprises. "
But couples who are ready to postpone the vacation date for several days at the very last moment have the opportunity to save significantly. Double rooms tend to fall in price the most. And there is a chance to buy very cheap offers with a departure literally in a day.

Comfort Discount

Luxury hotels, oddly enough, do not lack guests. They are loaded even in off season. And this is understandable - otherwise they would have to lower prices, and so - tourists are willing to pay for comfort and attentive service at any time of the year. Therefore, it is not worth hoping that an expensive hotel will lower prices at the last minute and that it will be possible to relax in "five stars" at the price of a "three-star". However, a discount can be obtained on a superior room in a mid-range hotel. Luxury offers in such hotels can wait for guests until the last moment, and then their price may drop if not to the level of a double standard, then at least close to its cost.

Seasonal fluctuations

In the high season, there are practically no burning offers. Therefore, it is better to buy tours for the summer months in advance. By the date of the trip, prices may rise. “The cost of“ package ”offers changes in real time,” says Ellin Tolstov. “Someone bought a tour and the price went up. Tours to European cities are less prone to changes. There is no seasonality, the cost of hotels is tightly regulated, and it’s almost not It varies throughout the year, but on beach destinations price fluctuations can be significant. Hotels on the coasts usually work on clear dates and they have a price schedule for low season, high and super high. Therefore, the cost of tours on the same prices The beach resorts will always vary according to dates. "

At the same time, in such areas, prices always decline after long holidays or children's vacations. A classic example in this sense is Egypt. Resorts of this country receive tourists all year round. Charters fly there all the time, and thanks to this, you can track that the cost of tours in the low season is guaranteed to sag there.

Force Majeure

It is a misconception that you can buy a tour at a bargain price for a resort where a natural disaster or tragic event just happened, such as a flood in Sochi or a terrorist attack in Tunisia. The cost of the tour, if it decreases, is very slightly. At the same time, in competitive directions, demand will grow - and, accordingly, prices. For example, now the interest of tourists in Montenegro, Bulgaria, Turkey and Egypt has increased, but Sochi and Tunisia are showing a decline. The cost of the trip is also affected by the exchange rate. For example, as soon as the ruble stabilized against the euro, tours to Europe began to be more actively sold. And their prices went up.

Rest longer - more economical

A significant part of the cost of any tour is flight. For the tour operator, the cost of a place in the charter is unchanged - the trip takes three days or two weeks. Therefore, the longer the tourist spends at the resort, the cheaper it is for him every day to stay. Thus, a three-day vacation at the resort based on the cost of one day will always be more expensive than a week-long vacation. Sometimes the total price of three and seven days is comparable. At the same time, on some days the plane may be slightly filled, and just on these dates, tour operators formulate last-minute offers to justify the cost of the flight. They usually appear at the very last moment.

Preferences of tourists

According to Level.Travel statistics, most tours are sold exactly one month before the estimated date of travel. A little less they are booked two weeks before departure and the same amount - 11 days in advance. At the same time, Russians continue to actively book trips almost until the day of departure.

In June, a significant part of decisions on organizing vacations was taken on the second and last but one days of the working week — on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Least of all, tours were purchased on weekends.

I would be at a loss to answer this question unequivocally. There are several aspects to consider.

Firstly, if you have already decided on a place of rest and definitely aimed to spend it in a pre-selected hotel, which for any reason is especially pleasant and nice, then in this case it is better to book a tour in advance, preferably three to four months. Then you will definitely spend your vacation exactly where you planned, and no annoying pads will not spoil it. If you book vouchers several months before the start of the trip, then, as a rule, in this case, many tour operators offer them with an early booking promotion, which implies a 20-30 percent discount from the usual price. So we flew to the Dominican Republic, buying a tour four months before departure and saving at least 30 thousand for two.

Secondly, if you do not care where to relax, you don’t have any particular addiction to any place or hotel, and the employer has nothing against spontaneously letting you go on vacation, then you can safely take a ticket for a week or even for 2-3 days before departure (unless, of course, staying in the country of your choice does not require a visa application or you already have a visa ready). But there can also be pitfalls here: there are more than enough places in hotels, but there are no flights. We didn’t get a rest a couple of times: once there were no empty seats for flights to Tunisia, another time we waited until the last last minute trips to Turkey, and when they appeared, it turned out that all the places for return flights were occupied, and we didn’t We manage to get back to work on time. When buying a ticket almost right next to the vacation date, one must be prepared that the choice of hotels will be very limited, usually hotels are on fire where tourists find many shortcomings in food, service, location. If you are ready to suffer some inconvenience for the sake of saving the budget, then last-minute tours will be a good option for you.

And one more thing, why it is impossible to say unequivocally which tour (bought in advance or literally a few days before departure) will be cheaper: the price of tickets from many tour operators is directly dependent on the dollar or euro to ruble exchange rate. And since the currency market is extremely unstable, and the ruble creeps up and down, and it is almost impossible to predict its growth or decline with absolute probability, it will be very difficult to predict which tour you will save more on. Therefore, the well-known assertion that last minute vouchers are definitely more profitable does not always turn out to be true. Sometimes a tour bought on an early booking, in fact, is cheaper than the same tour bought on the eve of departure.

Each person wants to spend his vacation in such a way that later it would not be excruciatingly painful for aimlessly ruined time. What to do for those who are going to use the services of a travel agency to organize their vacation?

The author of this story was engaged in automation of travel agencies for a long time, and in total several years had to be spent in several dozen travel companies: large, sending thousands of tourists a week, and small, for which each client is a holiday.

1. Statement of the problem: where do you want to go?

Before you start choosing a travel agency or at least a destination, you need to sit a bit and think: What do I want to get from my trip? Try to write, at least mentally, the essay “How I would like to spend my vacation”, it will be more convenient for techies to write “terms of reference”. Most spoiled vacations do not start at the travel agency, not at the airport, but at home on the couch.

Classical beginning: In !!! Wow! Turkey for 199uev, last minute package deal !!! Super! Departure tomorrow! This is a sure sign of a bad ending :-) What awaits you there? Some will be delighted with the thundering music around the clock in the neighboring disco, while others like a cozy, quiet hotel far from civilization. Some do not digest their compatriots, others will be indignant: one nemchura came along. There are many such examples.

Many mistakes in choosing a tour arise because of the manager, who cannot explain the intricacies of rest in this country, hotel, advise how to avoid problems and offer a decent alternative. But if tourists came with more clear requirements for their vacation, then the probability of error would be much less. And in this case, the dialogue was built on the principle:

 • How much does it cost you to relax?
 • 5 * all inclusive - 1000ue
 • Expensive!
 • Then there is 5 * with breakfast 900ue
 • Too expensive!
 • 4 * all inclusive - 800
 • It suits us.
 • We are making out.

The result is known. Some liked it, others not.

2. The budget and its distribution.

As you know, the cost of the tour consists of several components:

 • air ticket price
 • hotel cost
 • nutrition
 • medical insurance
 • visa (if any)
 • transfer - tourist delivery from the airport / train station to the hotel and back
 • excursions
 • current expenses

Usually, when buying a tour package, most of the components are already included in the package. But there remain some “little things” for which you have to pay extra. Usually, a visa does not get into the standard tour package, and this is 10-50ue, which you should add to the cost of the tour. Surcharge is made either here at the agency, or at the airport or elsewhere when crossing the border, it all depends on the rules for obtaining a visa in a particular country.

The second “trifle” is nutrition. There are several types, here are the most common with us:

 • BB - breakfast
 • HB - half board (breakfast and lunch, or breakfast and dinner)
 • Fb- full board (3-4 meals a day)

Moreover, the power is on the system "Buffet" and “Ala carte” - according to the menu. In the first case, you eat everything you see, everything you can eat. True, in some hotels the number of approaches to this "buffet" is limited (my friends have observed this in Italy). If the hotel restaurant operates on a pre-calculated menu, then get ready for drinks (tea, mineral water, etc.) that you will be asked to fork out.

 • AI (All inclisive) - "All inclusive". Well, the type of food very popular lately :-) At the sight of these two letters, the tourist starts to feel slightly dizzy from the anticipation of receiving manna from heaven, which will fall on his head throughout the trip. However, AI can be different: usually this is understood around the clock eating food and drinking local drinks, both soft and alcoholic. The “non-food" AI additives include a number of free hotel services: Turkish / Finnish bath, fitness equipment, towels and sun loungers on the beach. Moreover, AI can be very different depending on the starryness of the hotel. If in hotels of low categories you have all 5-6 dishes included and some beer and mineral water, then in good five-star hotels, you can really get enough of it “from the belly” and very diverse.
 • Maxi AI (Ultra AI, Super AI, etc.) - This is an extended version, where it is truly all-inclusive: first of all, foreign-made spirits. At Maxi AI, the hotel is free of charge, as well as other additional services: water sports, tennis, golf, a hairdresser, etc. The specific set again depends on the hotel.

“Ongoing expenses” is a very vague concept, so everyone puts their understanding into this phrase. These are expenses for excursions, entertainment, ski pass or food-drink. You just need to remember that they depend not only on your habits, but also on the general price level in a particular country.

3. Travel vehicles

The way the vacation itself depends to a large extent on how you get to the place of your vacation. Let's start with the most popular method in our country: we buy a plane ticket and fly.

The first thing, the first thing is airplanes: regular or charter?

Regular flight - Usually it is a large airline that operates such flights regardless of flight load, regularly during the season. Flights for such flights can be purchased at any airline ticket sales office using global booking systems, and the price will be the same at all points of sale. Depending on the fare, tickets for regular flights can be handed over, exchanged for another name or date. Service on such flights, as a rule, is slightly better than on charters, it is possible to choose a ticket depending on your preferences: economy class (Y), usually cheaper, but in business class (C, J), the distance between seats is much greater , better fed, watered, and looked after. At the airport, you can not jostle in the general crowd, but calmly drink coffee and get other services in a separate VIP-hall. True, this pleasure is significantly more expensive than a regular ticket.

Charter. Our compatriots, regularly reading about swindle travel agencies, this word leads to a slight trepidation: well! There is a chance not to fly away or not to fly.

Charter flights - These are flights operated outside the main schedule. They can also be carried out by airlines performing regular flights on these routes, to generate additional income during periods of mass demand for these destinations, and by independent airlines that have concluded agreements with travel agencies. Travel agencies buy the entire airplane in advance, and the price is calculated from 100% of the airplane’s load, while it is significant (sometimes 2–3 times lower than for a regular flight). True, tickets for charters are sold immediately at both ends (the return flight is also paid for), and for periods of multiple check-in at the hotel 7 and 14 days, if the board flies once a week. They put on hit hits 2 or more times a week, respectively, tickets appear for 10, 11 and 3-4 days. The type of aircraft can be determined 1-2 days before departure, depending on the load: many tickets sold - IL-86 will fly, if there is a shortage of passengers, then Tu-154. Tickets for charters are not rented, and are issued 1-3 days before departure. Another unpleasant feature of charters is the floating schedule. For example, in the morning the plane flies to Barcelona, then returns and flies to Antalya. If in the morning the plane was delayed in Barcelona, then it almost automatically drops out of the landing corridor planned for Antalya. The number and time of use of terminals at airports is limited, and your board arriving half an hour late can shift 2-4 hours to the first “window”. Especially “dangerous” are peak holiday dates and weekends in high season. The probability of a delay in departures of small airlines on December 29, 30, 31, April 29, 30 from Sheremetyevo-2 in the middle of the day is almost 100%.

Another aviation term that scares our brother is slop flight. This is a charter that flies with tourists, usually for 10-14 days. At the same time, the plane does not return to its airport on the same day, but stands at the destination airport, waiting for tourists to rest. Tickets for such a flight are somewhat more expensive than for a flight in a charter chain, but still cheaper than for a regular flight.

Last minute packages and special offers.

What are last minute packages and where do they come from? Typically, before the start of the season, tour operators pre-pay for hotel rooms and redeem seats on charter flights in the expectation that they can subsequently realize all this for a profit. But unfortunately, high competition, sharp fluctuations in demand caused by difficult to predict factors (wars, terrorist attacks, natural disasters) do not allow to sell these places evenly throughout the entire sales period. So there are situations when the travel agency has already paid for tickets and the hotel, but cannot realize the ticket. Whatever money is lost, it is sold at the last moment as “burning”, sometimes much cheaper than the cost.

However, such situations when tickets and hotels are “lit up” usually occur on the so-called low dates (immediately after the May holidays, after the New Year, at the very beginning or end of the season - in late autumn and early spring). These are periods of the lowest prices, and if you really want to save, it is better to go to relax in the off-season.

When vouchers burn in season, there are some peculiarities. Tour operators raise a large number of flights to popular destinations, and demand begins to exceed supply much. If empty seats in hotels can still be somehow resold to Western partners (usually the flows of German, English and other tourists significantly exceed Russian volumes), then nobody needs tickets from Moscow to Antalya or Hurghada. And the operator sells cheap flights in a package with cheap hotels, then Turkey appears for $ 199 and Egypt for $ 149.

Sometimes justified price reductions are found. These are the so-called special offers. No matter how large the company may be, it cannot buy blocks, for example, in all Turkish hotels, therefore several of the most attractive hotels are selected and a discount is “knocked out” for them. These hotels and tours have special offers.

There is another reason to sell packages cheaper than cost: price wars. Napoleonic ambitions among the leaders of our travel industry have not yet run dry. One of the coolest businessmen takes a million or two credit and begins to crush the market with prices. The logic is simple: I burn - and let others burn. He who has fewer financial reserves burns to the ground

Hello friends! Today I’ll tell you how to independently buy a cheap tour online, compare prices for all tour operators and purchase the most profitable option without getting up from your chair. Read, apply, and may an inexpensive vacation come with you!

In many cases, a trip to the tour may be cheaper than traveling alone. It happens that tickets alone come at a price as a ready-made package with a round-trip flight and accommodation. This is especially true of popular tourist countries, where there are many charter flights - Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, the Black Sea coast of Russia, Bulgaria, Montenegro.

Anya on Railay Beach in Krabi (Thailand)

For example, for the two of us flying to Siberia on our own from Siberia on a short trip for two weeks will cost no less than 70,000 rubles, most of which will be spent on tickets (and this is not direct). For relaxation, it will be more convenient and profitable to buy a ready-made tour immediately. After all, the tour operator redeems charter flights and hotel places in advance and many at once, so it’s cheaper. Not to mention the hot tours, when the seats on the planes are not sold out, and the tour can be very cheap.

Let's look now at a few ways to buy a cheap tour.

How to buy a cheap tour: ways to save

1. Search and buy a tour online

It is gratifying that now it is no longer necessary to travel to travel agencies of the city in search of an optimal and inexpensive tour, all information is available without leaving home - online. In addition, buying online often turns out to be cheaper than buying at the office, because the agency bears the costs of renting the premises, salaries for managers, and consumables.

It is especially convenient to buy last-minute tours online, because places on them tend to end very quickly. While you reach the office, there will be nothing left, and so I saw, decided, paid, flew to rest.

Prices for tours abroad change very quickly and depend on exchange rates - another argument to buy quickly, because the ruble is constantly falling. All information on permits on the sites indicated by me is always up to date.

2. Pros of buying tours online:

 • Cheaper than in the office, or equally priced.
 • Fast: you don’t need to go to the other end of the city or go to the nearest but not verified agency, the buying process comes from any place convenient for you.
 • Reliable: more than 120 proven tour operators, and payment is made only using secure protocols.
 • You choose everything yourself (and some travel agents can advise exactly the hotel or tour operator where they have more commission, and not where you will be better off relaxing).
 • Reviews of hotels and destinations, as well as photos will help you decide which place to stay to choose.
 • Convenient price calendar, you can select the date with the lowest price.
 • All tours are available from your smartphone on the way to work or home, on a computer at home or at work: watch and choose where and when convenient.
 • All documents at once: we pay by credit card and all vouchers, airline tickets and other documents immediately arrive in the mail. We exclude the notorious human factor, when a manager can forget something.
 • The tour can be bought by installments.
 • If you need a visa, the support service will tell you what documents are needed, and within the Moscow Ring Road the courier will pick up the documents and bring ready visas for free.
 • Online consultants will help you make your choice, support works around the clock.
 • The service department at any time will help to resolve all issues, if something went wrong.
 • Bonus programs, promotions, discounts.

3. Search all tour operators

Search engines look for options and compare prices immediately for 120+ tour operators, so that no tour will elude your attention. All this works on the principle of the airline ticket search engines that are well known to you. When choosing a ticket, I recommend to look at all three services at once, so surely do not miss anything.

4. Search for adjacent dates

It’s good if you can move the beginning or end of the vacation by a few days - often this allows you to save a lot. To understand what dates the tour is the cheapest, a calendar of low prices will help.

5. Search for tours from neighboring cities

The cheapest trips are always from Moscow with rare exceptions (with the same initial data: the same hotel, the same dates, the same duration). In addition, from Moscow there are much more destinations in all directions of the world, there is plenty to choose from. Well, if you live not so far from the capital, a few hours by train or bus, and you already fly to rest at the lowest possible price.

From Siberia, for example, it is not so easy (and not cheap) to get to Moscow, so see flights from neighboring cities. For Omsk, this is Novosibirsk, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg. Thus, you not only get a tour cheaper, but also have the opportunity to choose other countries and resorts inaccessible from your city.

Here's a comparison of prices for flights to Turkey from Moscow and Kazan, where it’s cheaper to guess for yourself :-)

From Moscow

For the same number of nights, in the same region, but from Kazan

6. Choosing a different direction

Of course, you are unlikely to be able to relax for 10 thousand rubles in Bali, the Maldives or the Dominican Republic. These are traditionally expensive destinations for flights from Russia. Having decided to fly there, you should understand that this is a more respectable and status vacation (although at the end of this winter tours to the Dominican Republic were “all inclusive” for 30,000 per person - this is a good price!).

But Turkey, Sochi, Crimea, Greece, Montenegro, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and many other beautiful countries are much closer, there are much more charters there, and prices for tours are much lower.

For example, even at the height of the season in August, there are tours from Moscow to Greece for a week for 8-9 thousand rubles per person (yes, this is with flights, accommodation, transfer and insurance!). Or to Thailand in October-November for 10 days for 25-27 thousand rubles (that is, at the price of a flight).

Tour to Thailand for the price of a flight, the price is for two

7. Season selection

Trips to the low season or velvet are always cheaper than tours in the midst of the season. For example, tours to Turkey, to the Black Sea coast of Russia, Greece, Spain, Montenegro reach their peak in summer, but in September they drop sharply in price. At the same time, the weather is excellent, there are fewer people on the beaches, fresh delicious fruits appear - some pluses.

According to statistics, the lowest prices for tours before and after the New Year holidays and May holidays.

8. Plan your vacation in advance.

If you do not live in Moscow or St. Petersburg (or near them), from where there are many tours at the lowest prices at any time, then I recommend planning your vacation in advance.

Monitor prices, try on hotels and regions, and as soon as the price is acceptable - take it. Do not wait for the summer to buy tours to Turkey, book early in the spring by early booking, because last-minute tours from the regions of the Russian Federation are a lottery: they may or may not be. In addition, you have to choose from the already remaining hotels, not always good.

9. Subscription for a change in price

Online tour aggregators offer to sign up for a tour price change. You already know the vacation dates, just leave your e-mail address, and as soon as the price changes, you will receive a notification in the mail.

10. Promotional codes

All the sites described by me continually send various promotional codes with discounts to the mail. Often these are the same discounts that a manager will give you when buying at the office.

11. Last-minute tours

Well, if you are not attached to dates. So you have the opportunity to buy a last-minute tour online and soon find yourself on the beach in a deck chair and with a cocktail in your hand :) Choose tours with instant confirmation.

As a rule, last-minute tours for visa-free destinations appear a week or two days before departure, and for visa destinations a couple of days before the deadline for submitting documents for a visa.

12. Have a visa on hand

The following follows from the previous paragraph: having, for example, an open Schengen visa, you can buy a last-minute tour a few days before departure at a super-price!

Keep some more tips on buying cheap tours:

 • Even independent travelers may need a tour: to popular countries (Thailand, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria) it may turn out to be cheaper than tickets - we take it and enjoy a trip around the country on our own.
 • The longer the tour, the more profitable the rest is (in terms of the cost of one night). And all again, due to the fact that the price of air travel is a significant part of the cost of the whole tour.
 • In most cases, relaxing on a tour together is more profitable than one / one. The cost of a single room is almost the same as a double.
 • When traveling with children or a large company to Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia and some other popular countries, it makes sense to buy an all-inclusive tour. After all, cafes and restaurants near the hotel may not be.
 • In Europe, on the contrary, avoid “All Inclusive”. Firstly, it is expensive, and secondly you miss the opportunity to have a bite to eat at local authentic cafes and restaurants.
 • With children it is more profitable to relax in Turkey and Egypt, because air tickets there for a child + two adults are just as easy for two adults. It’s more expensive to fly to Asia.
 • If you want a good service, then choose the simplest rooms in good hotels. So get excellent service at a reasonable price.

Now you know how to buy a cheap tour and find the most profitable for all tour operators, good luck in your searches and have a nice rest!
